2023 October Meeting Minutes

TOWN of ROOSEVELT
Minutes of the
REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 7pm
Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Hwy H Barronett

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huber at – 7:02pm
 
Present: Tyler Odden, Lee Huber, Kate Odden, Todd Coons, Becca Odden
 
There was a motion by Todd Coons, 2nd by Lee Huber, to accept the minutes from the previous regular meeting. 

Treasurer’s Report
Beginning balance of $130,980 There was $8,482.70 in deposits, with $275.65 in interest. Disbursements of $7150.09. Remaining balance of 132,588.49.
 
Clerk’s Report
Checks #9058-9064 in the amount of $8,348.15 were presented for payment. Check #9061 was voided. There was a motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd by Lee Huber to pay bills as submitted. 
 
Old Business
Towns Comprehensive Plan – Does this default to the county? Ask Wanda
Insurance coverage to the township
Fire signs & Posts; Buggy sign west of Spring Lake and Heart Lake
LRIP application – Lee has the application started, due by November 15th
Humane Society of Burnett Co – Township made a donation April/May of 2022. Asking $500 donation. Lee Huber motions to donate $50, 2nd by Tyler Odden.
Starwire – Motion to pledge $10k ARPA Funds; same resolutions as previously discussed.
Cumberland Healthcare Ambulance fund

Audit Worksheet – Rural Mutual
Roads Discussion – Tyler will talk to Steve about the salt/sand preparation for winter.

There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Todd Coons, to adjourn the meeting at 7:45pm.
