TOWN of ROOSEVELT Minutes of the REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING March 13, 2024 Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Hwy H Barronett The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huber at 7:01 pm.
Present: Lee Huber, Tyler Odden, Serena Fankhauser, Wayne Romsos, Todd Coons, Becca Odden, Steve Madison There was a motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd by Lee Huber, to accept the minutes from the previous regular meeting. MC Public Input Treasurer’s Report Cash on Hand as of February 28, 2024: $188,177.79 Clerk’s Report Checks #9115-9135 in the amount of $7345.11were presented for payment. There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Todd Coons to pay bills as submitted. MC Old Business There was discussion about the current roads, bridges and culverts. It was decided that the road tour would become a full day instead of a half day. During the tour Steve Madison, Tyler Odden, Lee Huber and Todd Coons would catalog the current culverts. Todd also reported on the buggy sign on Heart Lake Rd and the benefits of it being moved. New Business The spring newsletter was approved to be put on the website. Serena will mail out postcards to the residents providing them with updated information about the website and where to find the newsletter. They will also have the option to have a newsletter sent to them if they reach out to Becca. After some discussion, the board has approved Steve Nordquist’s request that open book take place on May 21st from 12:30-2:30 and board of review on May 28th from 5:00-7:00 at the Timberland Lutheran Church. There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Tyler Odden, to keep liquor license fees the same. MC There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Tyler Odden, to adjourn the meeting at 7:47 pm. MC Announcements - The annual meeting will be Tuesday, April 9th @ 7 pm, followed by the monthly board meeting, at Timberland Lutheran Church.
