Minutes of the
REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
May 14, 2024
Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Road H, Barronett

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huber at 7:00 pm.

Present: Lee Huber, Becca Odden, Tyler Odden, Serena Fankhauser, Todd Coons

There was a motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd by Todd Coons, to accept the minutes from the April annual meeting. MC

Treasurer’s Report
Cash on Hand as of April 30, 2024:  $213,337.29

Clerk’s Report
Checks # 9151-9163, omitting 9162 in the amount of $3732.20 were presented for payment. There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd   by Tyler Odden to pay bills as submitted.  MC

Old Business
Lee Huber reported on the LRIP grant that was approved . Huber also reported that he had contacted Envirotech and is waiting to hear back from them. Tyler Odden had been in contact with Sleepy Hollow Mowing. As voted on in the previous meeting, they will be mowing the ditches this summer. 
New Business  
Road Review –
Liquor Licenses were tabled for the June meeting. 
MOE (Maintenance of Effort Report) was reported on by Lee Huber..It is new in 2024, that states that each level of service in law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services
 The MOE report is new in 2024, as a result of 2023 WI Act 12. Each municipality and county are required to certify to DOR that they have maintained a level of service in law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services (EMS) that is at least equivalent to that provided in the previous year.

There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Tyler Odden to adjourn the meeting at 8:01pm. MC.
