TOWN of ROOSEVELT Minutes of the REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING April 16, 2024 Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Hwy H Barronett The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huber at 7:01 pm.
Present: Lee Huber, Tyler Odden, Serena Fankhauser, Wayne Romsos, Todd Coons, Becca Odden, Steve Madison There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Todd Coons, to accept the minutes from the previous regular meeting. MC Public Input Wayne Romsos was present to discuss the brush cutting along Hwy H. There was some discussion about it and it was resolved that Wayne would contact the county. Treasurer’s Report Cash on Hand as of February March 31, 2024: $203,664.89 Clerk’s Report Checks #9136-9150 in the amount of $5418.93 were presented for payment. There was a motion by Todd Coons, 2nd by Lee Huber to pay bills as submitted. MC Old Business There was discussion about the current LRip project. Lee gave an update and commented that the paperwork had been resubmitted due to incorrect wording on the application. New Business Lee had received a quote from Enviroblend, which is used for dust control on the roads. The board discussed how and where to apply so that the most properties would benefit. Todd made a motion to enter into an agreement with Enviroblend to purchase up to 4000 gallons, which would be used for northern neighboring townships, residents and potentially private residents. Lee Huber seconded the motion. MC. Tyler Odden presented three bids for ditch mowing. After discussion it was decided that Tyler would reach out to Sleepy Hollow Mowing. Lee Huber made a motion to accept their proposal as long as they provide insurance credentials and number of passes they will complete. Todd Coons seconded. MC. There was a motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd by Lee Huber, to adjourn the meeting at 8:21 pm. MC Announcements
