Minutes of the
REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
Tuesday, September 19, 2023 7pm
Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Hwy H Barronett
 

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huber at – 7:02pm
 
Present: Tyler Odden, Lee Huber, Kate Odden, Todd Coons, Becca Odden, Steve Madison, Wayne Romsos
 
There was a motion by Todd Coons, 2nd by Tyler Odden, to accept the minutes from the previous regular meeting. MC

​Treasurer’s Report
Beginning balance of $152,063.81 There was $2,809.80 in deposits, with $319.61 in interest. Disbursements of $24,212.79. Remaining balance of 130,908.43.
 
Clerk’s Report
Checks #9049-9056 in the amount of $3,543.90 were presented for payment. There was a motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd by Todd Coons to pay bills as submitted.  MC
 
Old Business
Discussion of blacktop on Timberland Rd. with residents that live on the blacktop, present at the meeting for open discussion.
Gravel plan between Tyler and Steve, crushing/screening the gravel.
Short term room tax.
County Road Improvement Plan (CTRIC), committee to pass the LRIP.
Roads – Shared responsibility.
Burnett towns association meeting update – Residents to edit what they think are the correct zone measurements of their property, due October.
LRIP Application
Updating the townships comprehensive plan
WISLR
Storage Unit at Thompson Storage. Todd Coons motions for approval, 2nd by Tyler Odden. Todd Coons motions to pay a full year, 2nd by Tyler Odden.
There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Todd Coons, to adjourn the meeting at 7:45pm. MC                                                              
                           
New Business 
Updating the Towns Comprehensive Plan
Insurance coverage to the township
Fire Signs and Posts – Buggy sign west of Spring Lake and Heart Lake
LRIP Application – Stays under old business until completion
Cumberland Healthcare Ambulance fund. Todd Coons motions to approve, 2nd by Tyler Odden
$500 donation to the Humane Society of Burnett County
Startwire – Motion to pledge $10k of ARPA funds by Lee Huber, 2nd by Tyler Odden
 

There was a motion by Todd Coons, 2nd by Lee Huber, to adjourn the meeting at 7:45pm. MC
