Minutes of the
REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
February 14, 2023
Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Hwy H Barronett
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Lee Huber at 7:00 pm.

 
Present - Lee Huber, Tyler Odden, Todd Coons, Serena Fankhauser, Trish Miner, Wayne Romsos, Kate Odden
 
There was a motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd by Todd Coons, to accept the minutes from the previous regular meeting. MC

Treasurer’s Report
Cash on Hand as of January 31, 2023:  $226,416.25
 
Clerk’s Report
Checks # 8975-8987 in the amount of $224,214.54 were presented for payment. There was a motion by Todd Coons, 2nd by Tyler Odden, to pay bills as submitted.  MC

New Business
The DNR sent the board geographic name proposal recommendations for 3 unnamed lakes in the township. After much discussion, the name proposals for all 3 lakes were unanimously approved by the board. The named lakes are Beaver Lake located west of Shallow Lake on the Washburn and Burnett County border and just north of the Barron County border, Pumpkin Seed Lake located north of Washburn County Hwy J and west of Spring Lake Rd Burnett County, and McBride Lake located south of Holmberg Rd and west of Timberland Rd.
 
There are 2 new election workers that need board approval, Terry Johnson and Angela Landsworth. There was a motion by Todd Coons, 2nd by Lee Huber to approve Terry Johnson and Angela Landsworth as election workers for the Town of Roosevelt. MC
 
Announcements
The next monthly meeting will be Tuesday, March 21st @ 7 pm at Timberland Lutheran Church.
 
Motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd Lee Huber to adjourn the meeting at 7:47 pm. MC.
