ANNUAL TOWN MEETING – 3rd Tuesday
Tuesday, April 19th, 7pm – Annual Meeting, followed by Regular Town Board Meeting. Location: Timberland Lutheran Church.
 
ROAD REVIEW
Road Review will be Saturday, May 14th from 7:00-10:00am.
 
OPEN BOOK /BOARD OF REVIEW
Open book will be held Friday May 6th from 10:00-12:00, and board of review will be held Saturday, May 14th, from 10:00-12:00, at Timberland Lutheran Church. The monthly board meeting will follow board of review.
 
UPCOMING ELECTION
Tuesday, April 5th – Spring Election will be held at the Timberland Lutheran Church.
                                                              
                                                                        Polls Open 7am-8pm.

Election ballots will contain the following: 
 Shell Lake School Board
 Cumberland School Board
  Burnett County Supervisor
 Court of Appeals Judge

VOTER PUBLIC ACCESS
Go to myvote.wi.gov and click on your voter category. Follow the directions and you will reach all the voting information, including the polling place, hours, and even sample ballots. Only military may request absentee ballots online.
 
TOWN CLEAN-UP
Saturday, May 14th, 8:00 am-12:00. The dumpsters will be located at Greg Odden’s farm, just west of Timberland Church on Odden Road. Signs will be posted. Fees are as follows:  small loads - $20, medium loads - $30 & large loads - $40. Appliances are $45 each, TV’s-$45, computers $40 each, auto tires $30 each, tractor tires $60.
 
Town Board Changes
Due to the passing of former Chairman Greg Odden in December, there have been some changes to the board. In January Lee Huber was appointed chairman, which then created a supervisor vacancy. In March Todd Coons was appointed supervisor. These appointees will serve until the April 2023 election. Greg served as supervisor from 2007-2009, and in 2009 won both seats as supervisor and chairman in the April election. He declined the supervisor position, and became chairman where he served until his death in December of 2021. Greg was dedicated to improving the township. He will be greatly missed.
