TOWN of ROOSEVELT
Minutes of the
REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
November 15, 2022
Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Road H, Barronett
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huber at 7:12 pm.

 
Present: Todd Coons, Lee Huber, Trish Miner, Tyler Odden(via phone), Serena Fankhauser, Wayne Romsos, Steve Madison
 
There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Todd Coons, to accept the minutes from the previous regular meeting. MC
 
Treasurer’s Report
Cash on Hand as of October 31, 2022:  $128,769.71
 
Clerk’s Report
Checks # 8935-8952 in the amount of $38,632.24 were presented for payment. There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Todd Coons, to pay bills as submitted.  MC
 
Old Business
The 2023 budget was revisited for final approval. After much discussion and no changes, there was a motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd by Todd Coons, to adopt the 2023 budget for the Town of Roosevelt with the town levy set at $35,795. MC
 
Steve Madison ordered 4 loads of salt/sand from the county. Steve will also finish brush cutting the remainder of the township, and there are some signs in the township that need to be replaced.
 
Road review was held October 21. Projects that are of a higher priority to be completed first include putting a culvert in Boyd Lane, determine the point on Delano Rd where the townships responsibility for maintenance ends,  repair areas of asphalt on the west end of Heart Lake Rd, addressing the blacktop by the new bridge on Bakker Rd.
 
New Business
After some discussion there was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Tyler Odden to renew the Command Central annual maintenance contract. MC
 
There was a motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd by Lee Huber to adjourn the meeting at 7:32. MC
