Minutes of the
REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
May 14, 2022
Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Road H, Barronett
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huber at 12:00 pm.

 
Present: Lee Huber, Trish Miner, Tyler Odden, Serena Fankhauser, Steve Madison, Todd Coons
 
There was a motion Tyler Odden, 2nd by Todd Coons, to accept the minutes from the April annual meeting. MC
 
There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Tyler Odden, to accept the minutes from the previous regular meeting. MC
 
Treasurer’s Report
Cash on Hand as of April 30, 2022:  $97,979.05
 
Clerk’s Report
Checks # 8879-8886 in the amount of $7,634.73 were presented for payment. There was a motion by Todd Coons, 2nd   by Tyler Odden to pay bills as submitted.  MC
The clerk has raised a question pertaining to costs passed on to residents for cleanup day vs the township paying for it all. The board will research the needed information to make a determination at the June meeting.
 
Old Business
Roads – After much discussion concerning slow moving vehicles operating on town roads in relation to new residents in the township, there was a motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd by Todd Coons to have Steve Madison install a buggy caution sign by the intersection of Hilltop Road and Bakker Road. MC
 
Road Review – To begin immediately is the improvement of the turnaround on Nelson Lane and to install a new bridge sign on Heart Lake Rd as the other one is missing. Lee Huber will make a list of projects from the road review to be prioritized at the June meeting.
 
New Business 
Liquor License up for review – There was a motion by Todd Coons, 2nd by Tyler Odden, to approve the 2022-2023 liquor license for Roosevelt Hills. MC
 
There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Tyler Odden to adjourn the meeting at 12:52 pm. MC.
