Minutes of the
REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
June 14, 2022
Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Road H, Barronett
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huber at 7:00 pm.

 
Present: Todd Coons, Lee Huber, Trish Miner, Tyler Odden, Serena Fankhauser, Steve Madison, Wayne Romsos
 
There was a motion by Todd Coons, 2nd by Tyler Odden, to accept the minutes from the previous regular meeting. MC
 
Treasurer’s Report
Cash on Hand as of May 31, 2022:  $100,410.29
 
Clerk’s Report
Checks # 8887-8901 in the amount of $6,539.84 were presented for payment. There was a motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd   by Todd Coons to pay bills as submitted. MC
 
Old Business
Timberland Bar & Grill has submitted a beer/wine application renewal. After some discussion, there was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Todd Coons, to approve the beer/wine, cigarette, and 2 operator licenses for Timberland Bar & Grill for the 2022-2023 calendar year. MC
 
There was a request from a town resident for 250 yds of gravel from the township. In the past the limit has been 60 yards. With the town gravel pit nearing the end of it’s’ life and the low availability of gravel, the board is concerned that it will become more difficult in the future for the township to get gravel. After much discussion, there was a motion by Todd Coons, 2nd by Tyler Odden to reduce the limit of gravel per resident to 30 yds annually.MC In April of 2023 the price of gravel will increase from $4.00 per yd to $4.50 per yd.
 
Concerning the ongoing cleanup day discussion, Todd Coons will search for grants that may be applied towards garbage disposal for town cleanups.

There was a motion by Todd Coons, 2nd by Tyler Odden to adjourn the meeting at 7:46 pm. MC.
