The Town Board is reviewing parcel zoning to ensure it aligns with land use intentions in the future. Below is an image of the map from January 1971, a quick review looks like most of the zoning is the same as what is shown today. The Town of Roosevelt adopted zoning on 3/8/1971. The board is starting to have conversations about zoning changes. The current focus of these conversations surrounds parcels zoned to allow high density housing on rural tracts of land. As these discussions continue the board encourages feedback and conversation from the residents.
