Minutes of the
REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
May 21, 2026
Timberland Lutheran Church, 
20805 County Road H, Barronett

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Odden at 7:00 pm. 
Present: Lee Huber (via phone), Becca Odden, Tyler Odden, Serena Fankhauser, Todd Coons, Steve Madison

There was a motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd by Todd Coons, to accept the minutes from the April annual meeting. MC

Treasurer’s Report
Cash on Hand as of April 30, 2026:  $303,634.46

Clerk’s Report
Checks # 9426-9429, in the amount of $8251.01 were presented for payment. There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd   by Tyler Odden to pay bills as submitted.  MC
Old Business
Becca Odden and Lee Huber gave an update on the LRiP application. The total cost of the project was $28,145.00 The town will be receiving $13,303.80 in cost sharing. The town has an additional $5001.00 to use towards another project. 
New Business  
Road Review – Superintendents and Lee Huber reported on road review. After some discussion,  a motion was made by Lee Huber to install the signs that were discussed on the road tour with an addition to Slow Down for Children on Delano Dr. 2nd by Tyler Huber. MC. A second motion was made by Lee Huber to have Madison Construction finish graveling on Boyd Road. 2nd by Todd Coons. MC. 

The board discussed the Envirotech rotation and application schedule. Lee Huber amended the motion from the April meeting from authorizing him to have $6000.00 towards dust control. To make the motion to have two full trucks in 2026. Todd Coons 2nd the motion. MC.

Emily Boucher attended the meeting and presented information about a Comprehensive Plan. This plan was recommended to the board by Jason Townes after rezoning properties in the township. The purpose of a Comprehensive Plan is to create maps, plan for the future and development of the township. This will be done through a committee of five members of the town over several months with the assistance of Northwest Planning. Lee Huber made a motion to hire and go forth with the Northwest Planning to make a Comprehensive Plan for Roosevelt Township. Tyler Odden seconded the motion. MC.
There was a motion by Todd Coons, 2nd by Tyler Odden to adjourn the meeting at 7:54 pm. MC.
