TOWN of ROOSEVELT
Minutes of the
REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
Wednesday, March 11, 2026
Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Hwy H Barronett

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huber at 7:03 pm.

Present: Lee Huber, Tyler Odden, Serena Fankhauser, Wayne Romsos, Todd Coons, Becca Odden, Brad Boe

There was a motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd by Todd Coons, to accept the minutes from the previous regular meeting. MC

Public Input
Brad Boe attended the meeting to discuss the liquor licenses in the municipality. 

Treasurer’s Report
Cash on Hand as of February 28, 2026: $265,895.41

Clerk’s Report
Checks #9394-9407 in the amount of $16,442.34 were presented for payment. Rebecca Odden is working on the Spring newsletter. It will be available on the town’s website. She also discussed the upcoming election and training dates. There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Todd Coons to pay bills as submitted.  MC

Old Business
There was discussion about the current roads. It was decided that the road tour would become a half day again and would be on Saturday, May 16th from 8:00-10:00 starting at the Timberland Church. 

Lee Huber and Rebecca Odden gave an update on the rezoning project. Jason Towne emailed the clerk and wrote the Land Use Committee was ready to move forward with the project. He did question if the town had a Comprehensive plan. If the town didn’t he recommended that he put one in place. The purpose of the plan is to show the future of the township. He recommended a consultant. The clerk will reach out and report back at the next meeting. 

New Business 
Liquor licenses and fees were discussed. Lee Huber made a motion to leave liquor, wine and beer fees the same. Tyler Odden seconded the motion. MC. 

A township wide clean-up day will be held on Saturday, May 16th. There will be a container at Odden’s Farm on Odden Road from 8:00 am -Noon. The cost will be small loads - $20, medium loads - $30 & large loads - $40. Appliances are $45 each, TV’s-$45, computers $40 each, auto tires $30 each, tractor tires $60.

Board of Review and Open Book dates were discussed and set. Open Book was set for May 14th from 1:00 to 3:00. The Board of Review will be on May 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 with monthly May meeting to follow.

There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Tyler Odden, to adjourn the meeting at 7:41 pm. MC

  1. Prelat/Public Test for Voting Equipment, Saturday, March 28th at 10:00 am at Timberland Lutheran Church
  2. Election, Tuesday, April 7th, 7am - 8p
  3. Next Month Annual Meeting, Tuesday, April 21st, 7pm
  4. Monthly Meeting, Tuesday, April 21st, following Annual Town Meeting
