Minutes of the
REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
July 7, 2026
Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Road H, Barronett

Present:  Lee Huber, Becca Odden, Tyler Odden, Serena Fankhauser, Todd Coons, Steve Miller, Emily Boucher, Steve Madison

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Lee Huber at 7:02 pm.

There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Tyler Odden, to accept the minutes from the previous regular meeting. MC

Public Input
Steve Miller, a representative from CASTA, was at the meeting to give an update on bike trails. Starting in July until the end of the year there will be five more miles of bike trails being built. This will equal 30 miles of bike trails and 18 miles of ski trails. There are also five campsites. 

Treasurer’s Report
Cash on Hand as of July 31, 2026:  $286,565.40

Clerk’s Report
Checks #9433-9437,9439 in the amount of $13,652.98 were presented for payment. There was a motion by Lee Huber , 2nd   by Tyler Odden to pay bills as submitted.  MC

Old Business
Dust control will be applied on Thursday, July 9th throughout the township. The board discussed a few projects that could be completed this summer. Lee Huber made a motion that we improve ditching with gravel on Nelson Road, just north of Timberland Rd. 2nd by Todd Coons. MC Lee Huber also made a motion to proceed with the intersection improvement at Heart Lake Rd and Spring Lake Rd. 2nd by Tyler Odden. MC. Tyler Odden made a motion to replace all road signs. 2nd by Todd Coons. MC.

Emily Boucher from Northwest Planning Commission attended the meeting. The town will be moving forward with making a comprehensive plan for the township. The committee will consist of five residents from the township; they will play an integral role in the future planning of the township. The kickoff meeting will be on August 13th.

New Business 
There was no new business discussed at the meeting. 

Announcements
Partisan Primary will be on Tuesday, August 11th from 7 am-8 pm.
Next month's meeting will be Wednesday, August 13th  at 7:00 p.m.
There was a motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd by Lee Huber, to adjourn the meeting at 8:40 pm. MC
