TOWN of ROOSEVELT
Minutes of the
REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
Wednesday, January 14, 2026
Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Hwy H Barronett

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Odden at 7:00 pm.

Present: Lee Huber, Serena Fankhauser, Becca Odden, Tyler Odden, Wayne Romsos, Todd Coons, Willy and Jace Boe

There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Tyler Odden, to accept the minutes from the previous regular meeting. MC

Public Input
Willy Boe, owner of Timberland Pub, addressed the board and discussed the possibility of getting another liquor license in the township. 

Treasurer’s Report
Cash on Hand as of December 31, 2025: $297,639.23

Clerk’s Report
Checks # 9369-9380 in the amount of $77,156.67 were presented for payment, There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd   by Todd Coons to pay bills as submitted.  MC

Old Business
The board discussed current road conditions and agreed that more sand should be applied due to the slippery conditions. One of the supervisors would reach out to Steve Madison about the application.  

New Business  
Rebecca Odden presented an Election Worker Ordinance, which would allow the town to reduce the number of election workers from 5 to 3 because of the use of a voting machine. A resolution was also presented which would allow election workers to work half the day. Both documents were read and considered and will be voted on at the next meeting. 

Announcements
The next monthly meeting will be Wednesday, February 12th  pm at Timberland Lutheran Church.

Motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Tyler Odden to adjourn the meeting at 7:44 pm. MC.
