Minutes of the
REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
Wednesday, February 11th, 2026
Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Hwy H Barronett

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huber 7:04 pm.

Present - Tyler Odden, Todd Coons, Serena Fankhauser, Wayne Romsos, Becca Odden, Willie Boe, Brad Boe, Mandy Elton

There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Todd Coons, to accept the minutes from the previous regular meeting. MC

Public Input

The owner of the Timberland Bar and Grill came to discuss some upcoming changes. The bar is excited to be extending their hours and also going to be bringing in some different events in the upcoming months. They also are going to be putting a new sign up to advertise the business. 

Treasurer’s Report
Cash on Hand as of February 28, 2026:  $537,148.30

Clerk’s Report
Checks # 9381-9388 in the amount of $11,764.02 were presented for payment. There was a motion by Todd Coons, 2nd by Tyler Odden, to pay bills as submitted.  MC

Old Business
The board discussed the brush cutting that has been done on Spring Lake and Heart Lake Road. They also discussed the road conditions on Heart Lake Rd because vehicles have been slipping. One of the supervisors will reach out to Madison's about applying more sand. 

New Business 
The Town of Roosevelt is eligible to participate in the Local Small Structure Improvement Program. This program aims to repair or replace deteriorated small structure crossings. Projects may be funded at up to 90% state cost share. The board will continue to discuss the program at upcoming meetings. 

Tyler Odden reported on the bridge report received from the county. The Heart Lake Bridge had been inspected. The board went over the report and maintenance that needed to be completed. 

Two bartender applications were presented from the Timberland Bar and Grill. Lee Huber made a motion to approve the applications and Todd Coons 2nd the motion. MC.

The Election Worker Ordinance was read. Lee Huber made a motion to approve Ordinance 2026-01. Tyler Odden 2nd the motion. MC.

The Election Worker Resolution was read. Lee Huber made a motion to approve the Resolution 2026-01. Tyler Odden 2nd the motion. MC. 

Announcements
The next monthly meeting will be on Wednesday, March 11th at 7:00 pm at Timberland Lutheran Church.

Motion by Tyler Odden, 2nd Todd Coons to adjourn the meeting at 7:46 pm. MC.
