TOWN of ROOSEVELT
Minutes of the
REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
April 18, 2017
Timberland Lutheran Church, 20805 County Road H, Barronett
 
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Odden at 7:57 pm.
 
Present: Greg Odden, Lee Huber, Erica Olson, Trish Hayden, Tyler Odden, Steve Madison
 
The minutes of the previous regular meeting were approved as read.
 
Treasurer’s Report
Cash on Hand as of March 31, 2017:  $37,134.14
 
Clerk’s Report
Checks # 8220-8237 in the amount of $8766.47 were presented for payment. There was a motion by Greg Odden, 2nd   by Lee Huber to pay bills as submitted.  MC
 
Old Business
 
New Business 
The burnett county highway dept. contacted Greg concerning roads to use for detours during the Hwy H reconstruction project. They requested using Timberland Rd and Odden Rd for the detour. Greg concurred.
As Jeff Kay was the fire dept rep for the township, a volunteer was requested to take his place. Lee Huber has volunteered to be the representative for the municipality.
It was suggested by Greg Odden, that the township update the Emergency Management Plan for the municipality. It will be discussed in future meetings.
 
Town cleanup will be May 13th, from 8:00am – noon, with dumpsters at Greg Odden’s farm.
Road Review will be April 20th with a 5:00 meeting at the church.
 
There was a motion by Lee Huber, 2nd by Tyler Odden to adjourn the meeting at 8:40 pm. MC.
